The global yachting industry directly and indirectly generates and injects billions of dollars into economies worldwide annually. A large majority of these benefits go directly into just a handful of economies. This missed opportunity translates into lost revenue for business and lost taxes for governments elsewhere.
New Economies
Special interest has been taken to turn several East Coast cities in the United States, as well as, the Bahamas into mega-yacht benefiting economies; competing with markets such as South Florida year round.
Having vessels in these economies directly and indirectly generates thousands of jobs from grocery stores to taxis.

The program is designed to encourage a year round presence of mega-yachts into these select economies, beginning with Nassau.

How it works.
In order to qualify for free dockage you must fill out the application below. Approval generally take 4 to 8 weeks. Please note none of your information will be sold. Your personal information will only be passed on to participating marinas, no other third parties.
Vessels must be 80 feet or larger (this is NOT determined by the participating marina). If you are not approved the first time, you can apply again after 60 days. With your permission and for your convenience, we can do this for you automatically. However in order for automatic reapplication, nothing must have changed since your previous application.
Required: At the time of your arrival, when signing in your vessel you must provide the free dockage code provided to you from MegaSlip.com, and present your cruising permit (Bahamas). A copy will be made by the participating marina office.
At the time of your departure you must checkout. Failure to do so will result in suspension from the program.
There are no sign up fees, no annual fees, and no requirements for utility usage. We simply ask that you enjoy your stay and spend money in the economy as you would do anywhere else.
